Installation of this hammock was not easy. The bolts to be used with the butterflies were too short. I have plaster walls. The walls were too thick. I had to go out and find 4 inch bolts, which was not easy. But, luckily, I did. Make sure you adhere to a stud. This took a long time (over days) but we finally got it installed. Now, the cat just needs to use it! Which he really hasn’t. I have my fingers crossed! It does look great on the wall, however. It is not cheap looking, like some perches out there. But, I am not sold that it is worth the price.
Update. 3 months in, and the cat is using it!!

So my cat had been sleeping in between my legs on my bed every night and making it impossible for me to turn and rotate. And with a baby on the way. I figured I’m going to be having to get up a lot so I had to figure out something that’ll work out for both of us. And this seems perfect! One night and she’s already used it a few times.

We’ve had this for almost a month and our cat loves it! Especially the hammock. However one of the poles broke off the wood as he jumped on it. It has been great up until now and it looks like unfortunately we can’t purchase another pole alone.
Again, we love it and don’t regret the purchase it just sucks that this part is now broke.

My adult cat likes this hammock alot and uses it all the time. She did lose her grip on the sisal post and fell about five feet so I moved the table under it. She landed on the carpet and avoided it for awhile and is more careful now. I am comfortable with the table against the wall (just in case) and will reevaluate when I see she acquires her sailor legs. Although I like the hammock for its size and security I would have preferred steps to sisal posts now considering our experience.

I purchased this product in December 2021 for my ginger furbabies. Only one cat ever used the two steps to scale up to the hammock. The other cats would climb the cat tree to the same destination.
Last week one of the steps broke away from the wall mount. Today, the second step broke to my dismay. It appears that the mounts are constructed from a ply panel. The ply that touches the way is compromised from the beginning with the teeth that anchor the bolt for the step. So with one or two plys for support, it was just a matter of time with the cat jumping up and down on it before it was going to fail.
Overall, great product. Just wish the wall mount was made with a solid piece of wood that would provide a little bit more integrity.

Instant approval from one of cats. Really happy with this cat bed looks great and is made from quality materials. Only issue I’d note is you need a 8mm drill bit for the solid wall fixings not a 6mm like the instructions say.

I loved the idea of a floating hammock to reduce taking up more floor space and this one always caught my attention because it’s very minimalist and aesthetically pleasing.
At first, my kitten was too scared to jump up on it. I tried picking him up and placing him on each step and then in the hammock to show him what to do. He would stare at it, wanting to get up there, but wouldn’t try.
We went through this little training process for a few weeks until I figured maybe I had it too high 🤷🏼♀️ so I lowered it down about 4 inches and he walked back up to it, examined it, and jumped!! I was so extremely proud and excited that I whipped out my phone to record it, like a mother who’s baby just took their first steps.
Now he happily jumps up and down and even plays with his tail under the posts while he’s on it (not the smartest but oh well). Just be sure to drill it INTO A STUD!!! If not, it will come right out and your kitty might get hurt.
