I saw a lot of people in the comments complaining that the suction power was too low or that it stopped working in the shade, but as a Floridian I’ve had an opposite problem. Even with the slider turned as low as it will go, the stream of water is HUGE. When I first put it out, it was really overcast so the stream was pretty small even though I had it on the highest setting. Went out later and all the water was gone from the bird bath. Found out that as soon as the sun came out the stream was so big and wild it pushed all the water out. The pictures I attached are with the stream turned all the way down. It’s still really big but at least all the water seems to be staying in now.
Very easy to put together and if you live anywhere with a lot of sun, you won’t have any issues with it working!! For the price, it’s good.

I have six of these solar powered fountains scattered through out my front and back yard. We are the talk of the town here in sunny FL by both are feathered friends and our human friends. The feathered ones visit all day bathing, playing and drinking from the fountains; they much prefer moving water. Our human friends are delighted by the height of 2 ft by the fountain spray and the relaxation of the gurgling water when relaxing on the patio. I have had these in my yard for two years and just love them. What Great, Great inventions! (I used to have an electric one that cost me $450, but the outside plug would get moisture and blow, and there was always an issue with the cord or motor. It was a frustration and pain at various times). These work flawlessly all the time. Plus, they have 5-6 different spray heads for a different pattern of spray. Now, be realistic in your expectations. The price runs $9-15. They last 6-12 months and then you toss them into recycling and buy another or more. I am totally fine with that because $9 into $450 is 50. So, I can buy 50 of them before I get to the cost of an electric fountain, and they are so much less work and hassle. Also, these that I buy do NOT store electricity. The solar panel turns the sunlight directly into electricity to run the pump immediately; it does NOT store electricity for later. (I am amazed at the number of people that buy things without reading the description or instructions). If you want a fountain that stores electricity, you will have to pay more than $9-10. I am very happy with these and will gladly buy more when the current ones expire. My only regret us that I could not post more videos of my other fountains. I rate “A++”!

The main thing to know about the Mademax Solar Bird Bath Fountain is that it does require full sunlight to operate effectively. As the fountain solar panel gets more direct sunlight, the height of the spray will increase. In full sunlight the spray on my fountain will reach about 12 inches high. If a cloud blocks the sunlight and as the sun goes down, the height of the spray upwards will decrease. For the price, this product adds a very pleasant and unique element to my garden. Assembly is easy and straightforward. I highly recommend this product as I am about to order another one.

The product is exactly as described. I use it in a shallow copper bowl in the garden and it’s very pretty there. Other reviewers have described how to keep it from moving too much or emptying the bowl of water because it may spray outside the bowl. I found it did the latter. I used large sea shells to keep it centered. Not using the spray nozzles keeps the water bubbling up a bit but not draining the bowl. Very pleased withthe product.
