We really enjoyed this puzzle. It’s wonderfully made and the little puzzles are clever and challenging. A couple of times you weren’t really sure what it was you did that opened something, but are delighted that it opens. You can only really do it once so it’s not brilliant value, but it’s a lovely thing that I think visitors will enjoy doing.
Another review mentioned not having instructions to re-assemble – scan the QR code on the leaflet for hints and reassembly instructions.

Amazing puzzle, very intricate and detailed, really gets your brain going. One part requires a little more force to spin something, I’m not ruining the puzzle but I ended up having to watch a video to make sure I wouldn’t break it as other reviewers had said parts broke off.
I wish there was a guide about putting it back together, that was a bit of a headache!

This is my second box purchased from them and while enjoyable I did end up accidentally solving a few items. Like the locks at the bottom. There’s also a piece of this puzzle that makes you feel like you’re going to break it which worried me, but it turned out that was what you were supposed to do.

I love these boxes and was really excited for this one. All three have the instructions “Please don’t open the box components by force, as all elements open smoothly” and that was true for the first two but I became stuck on this one and had to lookup the solution, I knew about the spin wheel and knew that was my next puzzle but was surprised that it spun 360 degrees but I wasn’t applying enough force. Even after watching the solution, I felt like I must have not have unlocked a 2nd part to make it spin because that same amount of force applied to several other puzzles across the 3 boxes would definitely break some pieces. The very next puzzle after I unlocked the manta ray requires you to apply again much more force than required on both previous boxes, and I can imagine that this piece will break in the near future.
So for that, I feel like if you’re going to buy one box, but Davey Jones Locker, if you’re going to buy two, then get Davey Jones Locker and Schrödingers Cat. If you’re going to buy 3? Buy Davey Jones Locker twice and then one Schrödingers Cat.
Still giving 4 stars because it’s an awesome company, and the first few puzzles on this one are awesome and very satisfying to solve, but this one needs an asterisk next to it that more force than usual is required and the pieces don’t seem like they’ll last long term.

Solving this puzzle box is all about finding and matching symbols. In my opinion, this is the second of the easiest of the five iDventure puzzle boxes. All five escape room puzzle boxes are of the best quality. A slight disappointment when you solved how to release the capsule. Opening the capsule is possible when you find the four less than obvious symbols. (-1 Star) for the lack of a hidden storage area, essentially there is none, but, nevertheless it was fun and challenging.

I don’t often write reviews but this puzzle box is brilliant – perfectly put together, the puzzles are genuinely ingenious and really fun; I was very impressed with how much they were able to fit into such a small box.

Very clever and mind blowing

What an amazing puzzle box. Whoever designed it is a genius. Some of the pieces could be a bit more sturdy, but other than that, this is one of the best puzzle boxes I’ve ever done. You don’t need to force anything to solve each part, so you know if you are applying quite a bit of pressure to a piece, then that’s not the right way to do it.
It took me a few hours, and unlike other puzzles, I wasn’t frustrated when I got stuck. Just put it down, leave it for a few hours or a day and then come back to it.
Now that is solved it, I have to figure out how to put it back to how it was, so I can have my wife see if she can solve it. I hope I’m able to put it all back together. Lol.
An amazing thing to have, or to gift anyone who loves puzzles. I highly recommend it. I’ll have to see what other ones they have on offer.

I got this for my husband for Christmas. This was his first puzzle box, but he is VERY good at puzzles. He solved it within an hour and really enjoyed it. He loved it so much now he wants to get more of them!

This is a great puzzle but whoever said it takes an hour and a half to solve must have been a rocket scientist. About 3 hours is more like it

I purchased this for my son who loves escape rooms, puzzles and d and d.
In the end it was my husband who really enjoyed tinkering with it.
It was a thought provoking and difficult puzzle but not too difficult and brought hours of enjoyment for both my husband and son. Worth it!

Right up the alley if you love challenging puzzles, this one takes the cake. Really well made from birch wood and so many puzzles compacted into one box. Took me a bit of 3 hours to solve. The most difficult puzzle box I have disassembled and assembled yet.
One thing to note is that there are some contraptions that require quite a bit of force to open/solve. Even though I understand the wood is good quality, there are thin delicate parts that may snap with force used to solve certain areas.
Overall, still happy with the puzzle, fortunately nothing snapped yet.

I buy a puzzle ever year for me and my nephew to do together. This one was trickier than I expected. We had to use the hints but great bonding experience. For reference he’s 10. But Aunty is 28 so…fun for all ages!
