Die Fort Knox Box Pro kommt bereits vollkommen fertig montiert nach Hause. Sie besteht zu 100% aus Holz.
Beiliegend sind zwei Info Karten mit dem Namen des “Erbauers” und eine kleine Hintergrundinformation zum Spiel samt QR Code für Tipps.
Wie funktioniert es… !!! Spoilerfrei !!!
Die Fort Knox Box Pro hat verschiedene Mechanismen. Diese sind an den Seiten als auch oben und unten. Die komplette Box hat auf allen Seiten Hinweise versteckt, die zum lösen der Rätsel erforderlich sind. Um den Deckel zu öffnen muss zuvor der Sperrmechanismus gelöst werden. Wie das genau geht, verrate ich natürlich nicht.
Alle Rätsel hängen miteinander zusammen. Aber nur zwei sind wichtig um den Deckel zu öffnen. Die anderen geben Hinweise.
Hat man alles richtig gemacht, öffnet sich der Deckel. Man hat hier ein wenig Platz um dort wertvolle Dinge zu verstecken. Es gibt seitlich auch einen Schlitz für Geld. Es ist also auch eine kleine Spardose.
Wer allerdings erst mal das Rätsel gelöst hat, der kann den Deckel ohne Schwierigkeiten wieder öffnen und schließen.
Aber ich finde, dass die Fort Knox Box Pro dennoch auch weiter seinen Spaß hat. Wenn man Familie oder Freunde dazu auffordert das Rätsel zu lösen. Oder man einen kleinen Club hat und neue Mitglieder müssen die Rätsel lösen. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten!
Negativ ist, dass nicht immer gleich anzumerken ist, was man machen muss. Es wird explizit darauf hingewiesen, dass alle Teile leicht drehbar sind. Das ist auch der Fall. Nur ein Teil musste man herausziehen, welches recht fest sitzt. Das ist kein Fehler, sondern muss so sein! Sonst würde es herausfallen.
Noch ein wichtiger Hinweis zum Schluss:
Es gibt ein Rad, welches festsitzt! Das ist kein Montagefehler, oder es ist auch nichts verklemmt. Das ist so gewollt! Deswegen nicht wundern!
Fazit:
Ein nette kleine Beschäftigung! Aber auch um mal etwas darin zu verstecken. Es gibt viele Möglichkeit mit der Fort Knox Box Pro zu spielen und seinen Spaß zu haben!

I gave this to my son as a gift. He loves these sorts of unique brain puzzles. He enjoyed this one very much. It is challenging and takes some time. So far 3 of us have solved it. The small space inside is a nice size for hiding small gifts. It is well made. Feels strong. Doesn’t come apart in your hand.

Old Man in the Cave –
This review is for the ESC WELT Fort Knox PRO – Escape Room in a Box. I did have a pretty good time working the puzzles and some of them are pretty clever, but there are a couple that are obtuse, even when you know the answer. I did have to go to the manufacturer for hints, and this is where I felt they fell really short. The video on their website was really poor, out of focus, and really no help at all, and apparently there is more than one version of the Fort Knox Box, which adds a huge level of confusion.
In order to get real help you will have to go to YouTube, where there are some good and some not-so-good videos.
All in all, the puzzle box was mostly fun, but there were also features that left me feeling that with a little bit more effort the puzzles and the experience could have been so much better.

Diese Rätsel-Box wird in einem kleinen, stabilen Pappkarton geliefert. In diesem findet man neben der Fort Knox Pro zwei kleine Beipackzettel.
Auf dem einen wird darauf hingewiesen, dass es sich um ein handgefertigtes Produkt handelt und man um Verständnis bittet, wenn es etwas einmal nicht so sein sollte, wie erwartet. Dieser Zettel ist persönlich von jemandem unterschrieben. Dadurch wirkt dieses Produkt sehr persönlich und kundennah.
In dem zweiten Heftchen wird das Story-Setting beschrieben. Das ist wirklich sehr nett, aber trägt nichts außer ein wenig Atmosphäre zum Spielgeschehen bei. Dazu findet man einen QR Code, welcher zu einer Website mit Rätselhinweisen führt, sollte man einmal wirklich nicht weiterkommen.
Beide Beipackzettel sind in deutsch und englisch geschrieben.
Die Rätselbox selber ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und wunderschön verziert. Viel mehr möchte ich dazu gar nicht schreiben, um nicht zu Spoilern. Was genau zu tun ist, sollte jeder selber herausfinden. Ich möchte niemandem die Freude an den Rätseln nehmen. 🙂
Bei uns hat alles super funktioniert und das Holz war nicht verzogen oder Ähnliches. Alle Rätsel konnten gelöst werden.
Schade ist, dass man für den doch sehr stolzen Preis nach einer Rätselpartie mit der Box durch ist. Aber sie macht sich als Tischdeko wunderbar und lädt unseren Besuch nicht selten dazu ein, sich damit zu beschäftigen. Man kann die Box auch sehr gut weiter verschenken, da alles wieder in den Ursprungszustand zurückgesetzt werden kann.
Ob man die Rätsle allein oder mit anderen gemeinsam löst ist jedem selber überlassen. Diese Box eignet sich auch super für Solo-Spieler.
Der Preis ist recht hoch für ein Logik-Rätselspaß, der mit 60 Minuten angegeben ist. Man erhält aber eine ein sehr hochwertiges, von Hand gefertigtes Produkt aus Holz.
Wir hatten Spaß an diesem Rätsel und freuen uns, wenn wir die anderen Rätsel aus der Reihe lüften können.

Hecha en madera, no es de excesiva calidad, de echo la veo bastante frágil, no solo a golpes o caídas, sino incluso a su uso prolongado.
Me gusta que sea ligera y tan compacta, es decir se puede guardar en cualquier sitio, apenas ocupa.
Ideal para regalar a todos aquellos a los que les guste este tipo de cajas, es un detalle muy original y que va a gustar seguro.
El precio, quizá lo veo algo excesivo, pero con algún tipo de oferta es una compra totalmente recomendable.

I had a great time trying to figure out this puzzle box! It took me a few hours to finally crack it. I would say it’s medium hard compared to other puzzle boxes. It is well-made and just beautiful. I love all the detailing, and I had no issues with any of the parts moving (or releasing). It’s handmade and includes a short note from the individual who made it. There is definitely a lot of quality involved! I’m going to reset it and see if my brother can solve it. Overall, I think it would make a great, unique gift. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s truly a unique gift.
Edit a few weeks later: WOW! I emailed customer service because I was having a little trouble resetting the puzzle, and they responded within 24 hours with detailed photos that solved my problem. Amazing. Highly recommended!!

La caixa està molt ben dissenyada i és sorprenentment forta tot i estar feta de panells prims de fusta enganxats. A la nota adjunta hi ha una breu història de la casa i un codi QR que condueix al lloc web d’ajuda. És el primer objecte de trencaclosques d’aquest tipus per a mi i tot i que al principi tenia previst fer-ho tot jo mateix, després de moltes estones de investigar els intents per obrir-la van ser llargs i infructuosos, vaig haver de demanar ajuda per als primers passos. El lloc web ofereix assistència en 9 idiomes diferents (alemany, anglès, suec, italià, danès, espanyol, francès, polonès i neerlandès ). Cada pas de la caixa té el seu propi capítol, en el qual hi ha un consell o una pista i si això tampoc ajuda, la solució es mostra com a text, és a dir quina roda es la que has de girar o quina part has de prémer, estirar o moure d’una altra manera o com s’ha de fer així com un breu vídeo de Youtube on podeu veure la solució. Tant per la casa en si com per als consells, primer vaig haver de posar-me darrere de l’estructura general, però després va anar tot sol. Per als tres primers passos encara necessitava els vídeos, després per a dos passos només hi ha pistes i la resta va anar. amb mi una mica reflexionant i provant i finalment es van obrir les portes i es van alliberar un drac i un tresor. Per a aquells que només volen regalar la capsa i no volen resoldre el trencaclosques ells mateixos i que volen amagar un regal a la caixa, hi ha instruccions al lloc web per a una obertura ràpida, de nou text + els vídeos. dels passos individuals. També hi ha una guia de vídeo per al muntatge. Encara he tingut una mica de dificultat aquí en alguns llocs, perquè al vídeo no sempre queda clar per a totes les parts en quina orientació ara haurien d’arribar a la seva posició original i les parts de vegades s’enganxen de tal manera que no segur que això és cert. Tot i això, m’he divertit molt amb la caixa i tinc ganes d’equipar-la amb un regal i regalar-la a altres en un futur proper. Un gran regal per a tots els amics de trencaclosques.

The biggest problem we’ve run into is that the help offered from the manufacturer is only in German. Also the translation into English in the included material is only okay.

📐 Tiene unas dimensiones de 12 x 10 x 11,5 cm.
🧩 Se compone de varias piezas individuales que debemos ir combinando de forma correcta para dar con la solución y así poder acceder a la caja secreta que tiene unas dimensiones de 9 x 9 x 4 cm.
👨👩👧👦 El rompecabezas tiene una dificultad muy alta, y lo podemos intentar resolver individualmente, o en grupo. En este ultimo caso se convierte en un rompecabezas interesante para desafiar a amigos y familiares en reuniones y fiestas, y tratar de resolverlo entre todos y pasar un rato ameno y divertido.
⏲️ El fabricante indica que nos llevara entre 60 y 90 minutos resolverlo, aunque claro esto es relativo. Los mas habilidosos lo resolverán en 40 minutos como ha sido mi caso, y otros les llevara 90 minutos (mi mujer) o incluso mas. Y los que tengan menos paciencia seguro que desistirán 😅
🎁 Es un divertido y desafiante rompecabezas que desafiara nuestra inteligencia, habilidad y desde luego nuestro nivel de paciencia. Es ideal incluso para hacer un bonito y muy original regalo.
✅ Además del propio desafío que nos propone, el articulo es tan bonito que sirve de decoración y en su cajita secreta podemos guardar pequeños objetos de valor. En general, es un producto muy recomendable, y mas si te van los grandes retos y desafíos.

És el primer objecte de trencaclosques d’aquest tipus per a mi i tot i que al principi tenia previst fer-ho tot jo mateix, després de moltes estones de investigar els intents per obrir-la van ser llargs i infructuosos, vaig haver de demanar ajuda per als primers passos.
El lloc web ofereix assistència en 9 idiomes diferents (alemany, anglès, suec, italià, danès, espanyol, francès, polonès i neerlandès ).
Cada pas de la caixa té el seu propi capítol, en el qual hi ha un consell o una pista i si això tampoc ajuda, la solució es mostra com a text, és a dir quina roda es la que has de girar o quina part has de prémer, estirar o moure d’una altra manera o com s’ha de fer així com un breu vídeo de Youtube on podeu veure la solució.
Tant per la casa en si com per als consells, primer vaig haver de posar-me darrere de l’estructura general, però després va anar tot sol. Per als tres primers passos encara necessitava els vídeos, després per a dos passos només hi ha pistes i la resta va anar. amb mi una mica reflexionant i provant i finalment es van obrir les portes i es van alliberar un drac i un tresor.
Per a aquells que només volen regalar la capsa i no volen resoldre el trencaclosques ells mateixos i que volen amagar un regal a la caixa, hi ha instruccions al lloc web per a una obertura ràpida, de nou text + els vídeos. dels passos individuals. També hi ha una guia de vídeo per al muntatge. Encara he tingut una mica de dificultat aquí en alguns llocs, perquè al vídeo no sempre queda clar per a totes les parts en quina orientació ara haurien d’arribar a la seva posició original i les parts de vegades s’enganxen de tal manera que no segur que això és cert.
Tot i això, m’he divertit molt amb la caixa i tinc ganes d’equipar-la amb un regal i regalar-la a altres en un futur proper. Un gran regal per a tots els amics de trencaclosques.

My wife and I have not yet solved this box, it is a good puzzle for sure. The construction is good, the iconography on it is clear, and the moving parts work pretty well. The biggest problem we’ve run into is that the help offered from the manufacturer is only in German. Also the translation into English in the included material is only okay.

🧩 Se compone de varias piezas individuales que debemos ir combinando de forma correcta para dar con la solución y así poder acceder a la caja secreta que tiene unas dimensiones de 9 x 9 x 4 cm.
👨👩👧👦 El rompecabezas tiene una dificultad muy alta, y lo podemos intentar resolver individualmente, o en grupo. En este ultimo caso se convierte en un rompecabezas interesante para desafiar a amigos y familiares en reuniones y fiestas, y tratar de resolverlo entre todos y pasar un rato ameno y divertido.
⏲️ El fabricante indica que nos llevara entre 60 y 90 minutos resolverlo, aunque claro esto es relativo. Los mas habilidosos lo resolverán en 40 minutos como ha sido mi caso, y otros les llevara 90 minutos (mi mujer) o incluso mas. Y los que tengan menos paciencia seguro que desistirán 😅
🎁 Es un divertido y desafiante rompecabezas que desafiara nuestra inteligencia, habilidad y desde luego nuestro nivel de paciencia. Es ideal incluso para hacer un bonito y muy original regalo.
✅ Además del propio desafío que nos propone, el articulo es tan bonito que sirve de decoración y en su cajita secreta podemos guardar pequeños objetos de valor. En general, es un producto muy recomendable, y mas si te van los grandes retos y desafíos.
