I failed the 1st time I tried on baby’s foot. 2nd time was good. 3rd try would have been perfect but I ran out of supplies. It wasn’t too bad just some minor mess. The main issue we had was how fast the 1st step solidified and made the 1st try garbage. Couldn’t even get foot in on time before it was too late. Expecting it 2nd time we did a much better job and realized once u get the process, it’s not so bad. Wanted to try again and just needed the step 1 bag but didn’t want to spend more. Wish they had some extras or a small sample trial packet first before actual casting sets.

We love the outcome of this product. It is difficult to use and I would recommend a back up to get the process down. I think the easiest way is to make sure the water is a little warmer so that it will cure quicker. Unfortunately we ended up with only a couple good molds, but we love them and they were worth the hassle. Very difficult to get it perfect.

I am in love with how this turned out. I like that this provides enough for several different molds because you probably aren’t going to get it right on the first try. This was our second attempt and it turned out beautifully. Do it while they are only a few days old and not super wiggly. I was also feeding her at the time so she was super relaxed while my husband did it. Definitely was easier with two people – at least with my squirmy baby!

the price to get the casting done professionally was outrageously expensive. planned to give it a go at home and the outcome was beautiful. the instructions were very easy to follow and all the intructions were pasted on all the packets which was very helpful.

The directions are spot on! Read all of them. Also if you get casting stone on your fabric kitchen chairs, a thick paste of vinegar and baking soda will take it out. I was shocked it worked myself. I used this kit when my baby was 13 months old and she was certainly more wiggly than I would have liked. The directions say 9 months for a reason LOL I would definitely buy again. This came out so great when I followed the directions.

I absolutely recommend this casting kit!! It was SUPER EASY! It only required my daughter’s attention for 3 minutes and she wasn’t bothered by it at all (just a little wiggly, but you can’t even tell!) I was nervous for how it would turn out because when we pulled her hand out I could see she had been against the side of the cup and she brought some of the rubber with her… but we were SHOCKED when we pulled it out of the molding!! It looks amazing. I didn’t want to detail it too much because I didn’t want to accidentally mess it up, but I could have perhaps cleaned it up a bit more. There was enough molding for 2 events, so I think we will try her foot next! It was super easy to pull her hand out and to remove the excess material from her hand afterward. 10/10 recommend!

Turned out great. There were instructions in the package and we followed them and everything turned out perfect. I ended up doing two feet in one mold and it was great! You need more sand paper to get the ended better but that’s my only complaint.

You will have success with this kit-if you read the instructions first! It also helped to have everything set up in order. I had to use one packet to figure out how quickly the mold would begin to set. The color-changing feature is very helpful! I was able to complete a hand and foot for both of my grandchildren within an hour. Using warm water with the mold packet and working quickly was vital. I waited about 10 hours to peel the mold off the castings. This is going to be my new go-to baby shower gift.
