Our knives are all handmade by our family in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
The knife is for cutting a variety of foods; all breads, (hot bread or crusty homemade loaves) any cheese, fruits, vegetables, perfect slices of smoked or cooked meat, bagels, pineapples, etc.
Simply hold whatever you’re cutting stationary and use a saw-like motion. It cuts precisely every time with very little effort.
The U.S. stainless steel blade never needs to be sharpened. We have family members and many customers who have been using the same knife for over 25 years! If your knife ever rusts, dulls, or breaks, contact me for a free replacement knife. We have done that same guarantee on every knife we made for over 25 years. Each knife has a leather cord attached for hanging up to save space, a blade cover, and care instructions.
We meticulously handcraft the knives in a variety of woods; White Oak, Mahogany, Cherry, Black Walnut, Ambrosia Maple, exotic African Zebra Wood, and Brazilian Purple Heart. Each of these woods are available on this listing or in our shop under its own separate listing.
We seal each handle in our own mix of food safe oils and natural waxes. I also re-coat every item before I ship them out in our blend of food-safe wax. Care instructions come with each knife for a lifetime of use.
The total knife length is 16.5 inches, width at the widest point is 2 inches. Blades have a cutting length of 9 inches with an approximate cutting width of 1.5 inches. All knives come with an attached leather hanging cord and a black plastic blade cover.
These are all handmade by my family and me in the USA. This is all-natural wood ( no stains used), wood grains will vary between each one. I will only send out the best but cannot guarantee one will look exactly like the picture. Please message me if you are looking for one with specific wood color/ grain and I will try to accommodate your request.
