The weld inside of bracket the tool hook inserts into is keeping it from being inserted properly. I have a very small rasp that I should be able to knock some of that down to get a proper seating.

We got one for ourselves and my parents had to have one. So being the good son of course I got them one! 😆 it’s a great tool. Before it would be a shopping bag or me cursing up a storm dropping half a dozen things trying to make it out to the patio in one trip. Not everything is all in one nice neat package. I can take everything I need to grill and everything I need to eat with in one trip and drag a cooler along at the same time. That being said some of the welds are a little sketchy. But nothing a zip tie or some crafting wire can’t reinforce. I’d do it before someone snaps a weld trying to pick it up by something that was never meant to be a handle. The body and handle are sturdy and with all the condiments, utensils and extras in it I never felt like it was going to fail me. Parts slide together snuggly and you may need to put a little effort into squeezing them to get them in. But that’s a good thing. Last thing you want is to have something always falling off when you pick it up. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars the whole way around was the welds not being super strong. But to much more and the weight would start to become and issue. Overall it’s definitely a five star product and a great gift for anyone who likes to be outside on the grill or out at the park or campground.

This was a perfect gift from my wife! She saw that anytime I would cook on my griddle, it would spend a lot of time gathering things and make trips to and from my griddle in the backyard. I was really excited to get this for summer barbeques. It was easy to assembly except I will point out that the hole on the other side of the wooden handle wasn’t lining up right for the screw to be able to get into the hole so I kept wiggling it in an effort to push over enough to at least catch the screw, eventually I got it in but the little slot where the utensils holder is supposed to slide into busted right off as I was screwing in the problem side of the handle. This was very disappointing but I will still be able to get a lot of other use out for this handy BBQ caddy so I only removed 1 star for that piece falling off during the assembly process.

This caddy is large….not large enough to be uncomfortable to carry, but large enough to hold everything you might need for a bbq without making multiple trips. The holder is comfortable in the hand and has enough sections to help sort things. The hooks hold all the bbq utensils you need as well. The feature that really sets this one apart though, is the inclusion of a paper towel holder. This is nice since you can just pull the towel off with one hand vs having to get bbq sauce or grease on the next towel when you’re trying to tear one off.
There are some issues though that make it a 4 star rather than a 5. First, putting the handles onto the basket is harder then it should be. I had to twist the bottom of the handle sides in order to get them open enough to fit into the slots they are supposed to be inserted in. Once in, they fit snugly.
In addition, the utensil hook remains loose after you insert it. It’s not loose enough that I was worried it would fall out, but it should be tighter.
Finally, and this may just be my basket, but the mesh on the sides of the basket itself are bowed or dented. The box wasn’t damage nor was the shipping box so it is just the result of poor packaging of the parts inside the box. This doesn’t impact the usage of the basket, but coming out of the box it wasn’t what I expected, especially for the price point ($39.99 at the time of this review).
I like this carrier. It allows you to carry a lot of stuff so you don’t have to go back and forth when bbqing. If it wasn’t for the small faults, it would be a 5 star review. As it stands, I would recommend it for those who bbq a lot.

A friend we camp with regularly purchased something like this last spring and we liked the organization it provided so we had to find one of our own. Received this one and I really like that it will help to keep our kitchen items well organized while camping. It doesn’t fold down as much as I wish it would for storage and you have to use a tool to attach/remove the wooden crossbeam (required for use) that I’m a bit worried about loosing, but overall I think that this will be a great add to our camping gear. Would be good for patio dinning use too

This caddy arrived in a nice sturdy box which would be appropriate for gifting. The only tool needed is the included Allen wrench. The instructions were easy to read and follow. Overall, this is a good caddy and holds everything I need to take to the grill except the food.
However, I have a few minor cons:
1) The piece to hold hanging grill utensils just sits there with nothing holding it in. It is pretty easy to remove or fall off. Otherwise, this caddy is pretty sturdy. 2) The paper towel holder is too low and bumps up against full sized 10″ paper plates. If I switch out to the 8″ plates, it fits better. I tried installing the paper towel holder backwards to face the opposite direction, but then it was too low for a ketchup bottle or spray oil. 3) This caddy is too tall to fit inside my large pantry cabinets inside my kitchen. I was hoping for a bug/mouse proof area for it to live and hold everything non-perishable for grilling. In the meantime, it will have to live inside a closet with everything wrapped in plastic.
