I bought this for my 3-year-old nephew. It was his birthday and it seemed like a silly thing he would get a kick out of. Little did I know however, that this would become his absolute favorite toy in the world.
So he began taking “Pickle” everywhere. When he goes to my parents house he takes it with him, any car ride anywhere “Pickle” is there with him. If you tell him goodnight, you have to also say goodnight to “Pickle”.
All in all this was a fantastic purchase due to how much he loves it, but for parents out there (or aunts/uncles), just be ready for the absolute unbridled chaos that this thing introduces into your life. It is constantly on, and he is forever talking (screaming) to it because it repeats what he says. I swear to God I’ve seen him ask it things in the way that adults ask Siri.
It has taken an incredible beating over the past few months and is still hanging on, but I’m sure that in the event that it stops working that we’ll have to buy another one. After all, what choice do we really have? At this point it is essentially a member of the family.
10/10 would purchase again, glad I don’t personally have to deal with the auditory repercussions of this purchase.
