TDLR: $30 headphones for $60 cuz it’s wireless and majorly inconvenient if you use your console/pc for entertainment and gaming.

Based on the reviews I was happy to buy this headset and was pleased when it arrived. Really simple to set up and game sound was fantastic. Build quality feels a lil cheap tbh, it feels that it would potentially break after a couple drops off the bed or tv stand. Also the ear pads felt rougher to the touch than my previous Turtle Beaches. I believe the wired pair of these is around $30ish and it definitely feels that way. The biggest downfall is how they work. I use my ps5 for tv and YouTube more than gaming and this was my first wireless headset. I was extremely confused when I turned off the headset after gaming and switched over to YouTube and I was getting no sound output through the tv. After a little digging I found out that the ps5 can’t distinguish when the headset is turned off because you have to plug in a usb Bluetooth transmitter and it thinks the headset is still plugged in. So after games I would have to get up and unplug the usb or go through the steps of manually changing the audio output every. Single. Time I want to switch from tv to gaming and gaming to tv. For that reason I am returning them and going back to wired with the Astro a10s based off the reviews of the build quality being nicer.

My dad was beating my mom and I could barely hear her screams because of the noise cancellation. Very good headphones. (NOT SERIOUS)

I have owned the wireless headphones since October of 2022 and they have been working phenomenal. I’ve mainly used it for my PC for casually watching videos and listening to music. Occasionally, I will play games as well like Lost Ark or Genshin Impact and listening to the sound effects from those games are pretty sharp. It has a great connection when voice chatting with friends too. For a very long time, there has been no problem, besides the generic signal breaks, when you’re listening to something and also walking a good distance away from your PC. Unfortunately, as of March 2023, the headphones have started to crackle a lot. I cannot listen to anything properly and the crackling sounds tend to fade in and out or simply appear sharply out of nowhere. I had reset my bluetooth and did everything I could to reconnect the headphones somehow and the result is still the same. I really liked these headphones because they are so comfy for my small Asian head and amazing for casual listening so it’s unfortunate to have it become worse within 6 months of use. I am unsure if it’s this model specifically or just the brand, but I dislike the fact that I’m going to have to get a new headset even though it hasn’t been a year of using these.

O microfone não é tão bom, apesar de unidirecional, ainda capta muitos sons. O som é bom, dá pra ouvir passos, até da pra diferenciar frente/costas, cima/baixo um pouco, porém no volume máximo, o headset apresenta um chiado. Se você mexer no cabo próximo à saída p3 ou mexer na própria saída, o microfone emite um ruído que é incômodo para as pessoas que te ouvem. A espuma de tecido incomoda um pouco a pele, não veda tanto o som, constantemente escuto o som do vento do meu ventilador batendo nela, atrapalhando escutar o som do jogo e até me confundindo às vezes (com os sons do jogo). Pra quem tem óculos, dependendo da armação, essa espuma vai fazer muito barulho em contato com o óculos.

I burn through headsets and controllers like it is my damn job, they are always breaking on me… I’ve gone through several of the more expensive headsets within the last couple of years, but this cheaper pair has lasted 9 months already and they still work great. The sound is awesome, the speaker/mic is excellent, they’re comfortable, and I never have issues hearing others, hearing the game, or other people hearing me. They have been far more reliable and durable than the more expensive headsets ever were.

It just plugs into your controller, whoch is wireless anyway, so it’s not like you are stuck six feet away from your PS5 or anything. It eats up the battery on your controller a little faster, since the battery us literally being used for both the controller itself and the headphones, but it is not a dramatic change.

My solution to this, was buying a ten foot charging cable for the controller, since I’m usually pretty close to my tv while playing anyway, and just always having it plugged in while I play. That way, I’m almost ten feet away and my controller never dies, AND my headset is plugged in for maximum ambience as I play.

If I need to get up and grab a drink and don’t feel like taking the headset off becsuse I am in the middle of a conversation, I can just unplug the charging cable from the controller and just keep the controller in my hand and the headset on my head. I can literally go anywhere in the house while doing this and the other party can still hear my clearly.

The only drawback is your ears may get a little sore after a very long game marathon, but it takes a while. Like, a long while… Like, 6-8 hours in, when you should be getting off and taking a break anyway. But they are generally quite comfortable unless you have giant ears that go beyond the little ear cups.
