First, I have not ridden this out on a road or sidewalk yet due to weather so I can’t comment on performance in normal conditions.

I have had many issues with the trike and the company. The package was originally lost in shipping and I had to get a replacement sent. When I got ready to put it together (with minimal instructions included) I noticed several small issues. There was a large gouge in the rear that we were able to fix with plyers enough to get the little cap on. The packaging was intact, so clearly this was a factory defect. The brake line was severely crimped and is now wrapped with electric tape. And the front tire is defective. The company is slow to respond, if at all.

I got a a great sale on it is the only reason I have made do and repaired as I could rather than sending it back.

    Buyer beware.

I like this trike, if you can see in the photo I had the seat modified for my height ( I am 6’ 6 “) Had seat raised from 12 inches to 19 inches. Making it a lot easier to get on and off. Because it is direct drive, it’s not fast, which is fine you’re sitting as if in a recliner, you find yourself looking more up than down, which is what you do most of the time with a regular bike is looking down . It’s very safe to ride, with the safety flag, cars can see you from a distance. I am not an exercise but, but, but I love this trike, and would buy another.

From another shop we already got a Mobo Cruiser Shift for me because I could no longer ride a regular bike due to mobility issues. And we just could not afford the larger very expensive roadworthy recumbent bikes/trikes. My husband was so impressed with mine he sold his bicycle to get this Mobo Cruiser Triton Pro so that he could cruise along side me on my Mobo Shift. This one only gets 4* because we think the Mobos would be sooo much better if they had gears. Getting traction on the front wheel when on an incline can be very difficult at times too. A flat smooth surface seems to work the best. Apart from the lack of gears it is a wonderful trike to have when your mobility is somewhat restricted so that riding a bike is too much of a challenge. Its nice and low with a very comfy seat and back support. No neck, back or leg aches at all. On the right flat terrain you can go as fast or as slow as your legs can take you. It was shipped quickly and arrived on time. Very well packaged too. After having already assembled mine this one was much easier to put together. Instructions are pretty clear. We turned to YouTube for a how to video as backup. Helped loads. Haven’t had any operating problems with it so far. It gets used a lot every week. Very happy to recommend to anyone with mobility issues and with a tight budget who’s looking for a means to go cycling out in the fresh air like they use to or maybe someone who’s never been able to ride a regular bike at all. These Mobos might be just what you’re looking for. We both highly recommend them.

I am very happy with this product. My son has Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) / Dispraxia it has been a challenge to find a bike that he is comfortable riding and is also socially acceptable. We have know found it.
He loves going for rides around the block by himself, and can now join us for family rides.
I am slightly disappointed that it does not have speed settings. But we were aware of that when we purchased it.
We love the three wheels for balance, the low profile for stability, and the angled seat for ease of use of core muscles. This is a great bike to build endurance and ability.
The yellow flames 🔥 add a level.of style.
Thank you for a great product.

This review is as a new owner. I got it a few days ago and put it together in just under 30 minutes. It was very simple as long as you read the instructions for the less obvious bits. It rolls very smooth. I live in Florida which means I have hardly any hills. This brings to me to some obvious things for people to know before they buy it because Walmart return policies are not so easy. Since it has all the weight on the two rear wheels you steer with. If you come to even a raised driveway, the front wheel which is how it is propelled will lose traction and you’ll have to get off and push it. If I bought this when I lived in NJ, I’d be pretty angry with myself for not thinking about these obvious physics. It does not have a tight turning radius I wished it did have. Again, only because where I live, tight turning isn’t a big requirement. Again, you have to get off if you don’t have room and just pick up the front wheel and turn it in the direction you wish to ride toward. My final observation as a new owner/rider. I wish this bike had multiple gears. Because most of my riding is level, I keep having to coast because I can’t pedal faster and without gears to increase the rotation per pedal crank, I’ve found that you can only go a very moderate speed, but with my bad back and fibromyalgia, it’s still better than walking literally miles just to go from the north side to the soft side of the community where the better fishing is. I’m creating some unique design to hold two rods and a backpack tackle carrier. Also, please keep in mind the tires will be very low and before riding you’ll need to fill all three up. After I’ve used this over the next few months, I’ll revise/update this review based on durability and any other things I notice.

I’ve been looking for a long time to find something I can ride on the nature trail close to my house. I’m 55, fat, lazy, and a weakling. I also have a balance disorder that won’t allow me to use a two-wheeled velocipede. I’ve purchased and returned several vehicles that looked like great fun and great exercise, but were too hard to pedal or otherwise make them move. I was quite discouraged. Other recumbent trikes caught my eye, but they were too pricey.

I took delivery of the Mobo Triton Pro in early February, and it sat in its box in my foyer while winter continued to rage on. We finally had relief from it just this past week. My son assembled my trike (the Youtube video is very helpful!) yesterday and it went back to the foyer to wait out the rain. 😛

Today the sun finally peeked out between the clouds and the temperature was perfect! So I took the trike out to my driveway for its maiden voyage. OH MY GOODNESS, I’m so excited and happy! It rides smoothly, the seat is comfortable, I can pedal just fine, and the trike manages the slight slope of my driveway very well. Steering became intuitive quickly (I’m a klutz) and the brakes work great. The turn radius is really wide, which might bother some, but I should be fine on the trail, which is pretty straight and level. the trike doesn’t pedal in reverse, but I learned a 3-point turn which let me turn around at the base of the driveway and pedal back up to the street. I just put my feet on the ground as needed and pushed myself backward. No problemo!

I made probably ten laps that way, to get the feel of pedaling and steering, and I can’t wait to take it out on the trail! I can tell already it’s going to be so much fun and get me in shape this summer! I was panting when I sat down after just the short time I’d been riding, and my thighs and shoulders are a bit achy LOL!

I had been concerned that I wouldn’t get much of a workout in my upper body, but I can tell steering and breaking are going to get my arms working quite a bit, too.

I can’t rave about the Mobo Triton Pro enough! It’s going to get this sedentary old lady in shape and keep her active into her “golden” years! I highly recommend this vehicle for anyone, but particularly those of us getting older and wanting to get, or stay, active and have fun doing it!

Very fast delivery and easy for one person to assemble in about an hour. My 11 year old son loves the smooth ride but he does have to be careful not to over steer around the corners. Like many others who ride these, he has high functioning autism and has never come close to riding a bike, even with large training wheels. This was definitely the answer. There are two reasons why I didn’t give it 5 stars though. Firstly, one of the tubes exploded the third time we took it out .It only cost $5 to replace the tube today but Grandma was visiting last night and my son had been very excited to show her he can ride now. Anyone who has a child with autism would understand that an unexpected disappointment like not being able to show off a new skill can (and did) end badly. The bike repair shop told me the tires should be inflated to about 20 psi and even at that they feel rock hard. Mobo’s recommendation is to inflate the tires to 40 psi which is likely how they arrived. We will be reducing the pressure in the remaining two tires to try and prevent this from happening again. Secondly, I have only owned this bike for 3.5 weeks and now the same company is offering exactly the same model for $46 less. I have no way to contact the seller to ask questions or let them know the tire exploded, other than by commenting here. I would love to know if there was some kind of price protection during the first 30 days. Overall, a great purchase and we will have this Mobo in our family for a long time. Despite the small issues, we would still purchase it again. For less money though.

My son with cerebral palsy used a Mobo Triton Pro at physio and it was the only bike he has been able to successfully ride. He was very excited that his family pitched in to get him one this last Christmas, even knowing he’d have to wait for the canadian winter to pass before he could ride it. We have only been using it for four weeks and while he’s LOVING it (bike rides are a nice quarantine outing) we have had to go searching around the block twice for screws that worked themselves out while biking. We always go around the same block.. but three out of four seat cushion screws fell out that we have not been able to locate (and are struggling to find with all non essential stores closed.) The screw holding in one side of the steering arm came out two weeks ago, but that was blatantly obvious and we found it right away. Now we check the screws in the steering arms before each outing and tighten when needed.

All in all, I love that my kiddo can finally ride a bike, but wish we weren’t always feeling like we have a screw loose (pun intended.)

You would think from the pictures and videos that this trike could be ridden anywhere. Not so. When you read the fine print in their instructions it says: ” WARNING: ▪︎Never ride your Mobo on public streets or roads. ▪︎ …Never ride on dirt, grass, sand, grass, slick or wet surfaces. ” Which begs the question, just where can you ride it. I esp. loved the part about not riding in public roads and the video clearly shows kids riding on “neigborhood” streets and multiple individuals riding on a beach. Don’t know about you, but the only beaches I have ever seen were sand or loose gravel. Closer review of Mobo’s pictures would show riders biking on sidewalks and driveways. Really deceptive! As I live in a rual environment, I’ll be returning the trike. ( Does make me wonder if all the complaints about the tires going flat and unusable might be that the tires are not meant for “road” conditions; not designed for real world use. )
