So to be honest I haven’t used this but we’ve been doing hello fresh lately and the wife is in love with this thing. Says it makes your job so much easier. I have cleaned it a few times and as you can imagine it can be a bit of a pain. But that’s what you have kids for.

I actually really like this! Got it to make meal prepping easier and it did just that. Nice uniform veggies in just a couple of minutes. Good quality, sharp so watch those fingers (got me not during use but actually cleaning it), and lots of different blades or whatever they are called for different cuts on your food. Makes onion an absolute breeze lol. Oh and they had a free gift inside the box. You just had to scan a qr code and I chose the milk frother. That thing is a flimsy turd but it was free and a good backup if ours goes down until we can replace it.

This item was delivered today 05/07/23. I washed all parts by hand in warm soapy water and then used it. I purchased this item to chop up my lettuce for my salads. I make them a week in advance. I really did not think this could handle the lettuce. I took out my head of iceberg lettuce cut into 8 chunks and low and behold in less than 2 minutes I had a complete bed of lettuce in the holder. It handled the lettuce with ease. I then took my green peppers took out the seeds and had no issue, same with celery and carrots. handled them all with ease. I had my basic dinner and lunch salads for the week in less than 5 minutes and that incudes clean up. The only thing that I worry about is the sturdiness of this thing. The only thing that is stainless steel are the cutter blades everything else is plastic. That is the reason I gave it a 3 star rating on sturdiness. Also, the clean up the device is not that smooth. I really don’t know if this is dishwasher safe or not it says to clean everything in warm soapy water. Again 3 stars on ease of clean up. Overall for the price and what it does I would recommend this item.

When I unwrapped the items inside box, I noticed the high quality of each item, study, solid made. After putting parts together, used it to chop up onions. Job done in no time. Next I shredded a carrot, Again, perfect!!. I used the slicer for a potato. I was expecting larger slices, (should have converted 2 mm to 5 mm to inches). The slices were smaller than I wanted, but would be fine if you plan to boil and make mashed potatoes. I next used the slicer for french fries. Again, smaller than I wanted but if you wanted to make hash browns at home, would be great for it. Overall happy with the product, just wish the potatoes (FF and slices were larger.

I ordered this as a gift for myself for Mother’s Day based on a recommendation from Kallie, on Instagram. She’s a pretty practical young mom and I’m an almost 70 year old who is also around young ones that live with me and also prepare dinner for 5 just about daily. Although there is quite an age difference, I’ve learned a lot from her and value her opinion on what is worth it and what is not. Obviously I have been cooking a long time and I do have decent knife skills, so I was a bit hesitant, but what the heck!? I received this chopper and chopped potatoes, tomatoes, onions. I shredded carrots, onions. All easily and far quicker than I could have cut them. The thing I got the most excited about was I had 2 pounds of strawberries to slice for a dessert. Literally it took me 2 MINUTES, if that, to easily slice them with the “garnish blade”. It was fabulous! This is a gadget that is worth it and I wished I had it years ago. I don’t find it difficult to clean up after or difficult to use. I guess I’ve watched enough videos to know some harder veggies require a little bit of force but nothing difficult (for me, I realize it could be for others). It stores beautifully too and is well built/sturdy. One of the things I will mention that I love is that the case you can put the attachments in, there is space for the blades to air dry, so you can wash them, dry them as best as possible and put them in their case and the blades will easily air dry. I put the larger green piece (that fits the slicing blades) inside the main part along with the hand guard. Not everything that comes with it will fit into the main container. Either you keep the blades/chopper containers out or the green piece and hand guard out. If you prepare food…this is truly a time saver. If I remember, LOL, after I use it for other things like grating cheese etc, I will update this review. But don’t hesitate to try it, even if you’re not a kitchen gadget person. If you cook, you’ll use it. It’s a lot easier than dragging out a food processor, and quicker than a knife for many everyday tasks. HTH.

I have been on a quest to find a food chopper that works well and is easy to clean. This one does that and so much more. I love that all of the pieces detach and are able to go into the dishwasher. It comes with 2 different lids: one is for standard chopping and you have 3 different sized chopping heads to use with it for large, medium or small pieces. Great for salads, fruits, etc. The second lid is able to hold blades for slicing or julienned fruits and vegetables. One of those things you never knew you needed until you have it. The previous choppers I have used weren’t great with softer fruits or vegetables. For example, a softer tomato would get smashed but would chop and the skin would get stuck in the blades. This one is able to chop everything, I think because the blades are so incredibly sharp. The only caution – the blades are surprisingly sharp, I did cut myself while trying to remove the chopping blade, but only because I wasn’t careful.
