My 4 year old has thick blonde hair down to her butt. So it’s really light hair and you’d think the colors would show up better. The brightest one to show up was red. But it’s hardly showing up. I just spent nearly 30 minutes trying to make it show up more. Ended up getting a little aggressive running up and down her hair trying to do better. Oh well. Won’t buy again unfortunately. I’ll just go get some cheap temporary dye so it shows up.

My daughter loved the colors of her hair! I sprayed lightly with water, used the convenient brush applicator in a downward motion once, (or twice) and then used a fine tooth comb to comb through the section of colored hair multiple times.
The only thing I didn’t like is that some sections somewhat hardened up or clumped but we’re still brushable.
Easy to apply, washed out easily with regular shampoo, and looked great!
Caution: may rub off on furniture, pillow case, etc.

My daughter had crazy hair day at school and I tried to comb the colour through and as she has brown hair – it didn’t show up! She was in tears so resorted to breaking the comb and pulling the cube of colour out and using my hands, I coloured the top of her head with it – the rest of her hair, that was pointless. Messy disaster!

I ordered these for my 8 year old. They do make her hair stiff but these are great for pretend and fun! They are very easy to apply and bright in color!

Worked well and was pretty on my dark blonde hair, my friend’s red hair, and my other friend’s brown hair. They both used the red and I used the purple and blue. All three of those colors were gone after one use on our long hair. Kind of disappointed, thought they’d last longer but oh well. A good night of fun for three teenage girls. Definitely made our hair feel very chalky, but it is chalk, so to be expected 🙂 Very easy to apply, but does rip at hair a little bit.

I’ve been looking for a light pink coloring mechanism for my blonde hair, and this does the trick! It’s easy to apply and easy to get out! Will buy again once I run out! 😍

Awful. This isn’t chalk, it’s a waxy paste. It’s feels horrible horrible in hair, stiff and greasy

Bought for my sister as a gift. She loves trying different hair products. She has dark brown hair, and some colors did not show up. The green, blue, and purple were barely visible. The red and pink worked better. It does not work in a couple of swipes. You have to rub repeatedly on sectioned hair several times for pigment to be visible.

Went on well, I was being quite rough with my hair though as was fancy dress Halloween so needed volume in it. Didn’t wash out of hair for a good few washes. I have brown hair with blond running through but it was perfect for what I needed it for

The chalk works well enough, just need to press kinda hard down while grabbing the piece of hair you’re coloring and also need to do a couple rounds of that if you have brown hair in my case.
Very strange but we also noticed it literally stinks like dog poop. Haha no joke! My daughter was gagging in the car and asked me if my other daughter was farting and I couldn’t figure it out bc I didn’t smell anything but when I sniffed her hair it smelled just like dog poop. Then next day I used the hair chalk and smelled the same thing on MY hair. We confirmed it was most definitely the chalk. I wonder if anyone noticed this? We just put tons of perfume and hairspray on the strands we color to try and camouflage the odor of it 🤣

Finally!!! A set of these that work! Look at my unicorn 🦄 hair! I’ve bought so many of these and they’ve never worked before, I took every single tip and these worked right from the comb onto my hair. It suggests wetting your hair and it’s probably a good idea, but I was just playing with them and it worked even dry 😁 I did use some hairspray after to keep it in place but it stayed on until the next day when I had to wash it off (it did get on my pillowcase but it washed off my pillow with a normal wash). Idk how it would be without hairspray (not a lot, just a little) but it didn’t get on any of my clothes even though I changed after I put it on several times.
For your own use, here are the tips I’ve learned:
Put on damp hair, after use a hair straightener to seal it in place and a bit of hairspray
I think any heat would work to seal it in and brighten it if you have darker Hair
No matter what, it works best on light, fine hair
