It is very durable, took a few tumbles down the stairs and still worked perfectly. The charger however is flimsy and frankly garbage. It broke very quickly and the company was unhelpful. I finally found one from another company and it fried the batteries. Now it’s just a $80 piece of garbage. Also, it is very tricky to drive in a straight line.

Standard poodle cross goes nuts for it. Battery lasts just as long as her attention. Always a win. Great for the money. Good purchase.

Got this for my nephews 6th birthday and he loved it! It also comes with 2 rechargeable batteries so you can always have a backup charged and ready to go. He got the hang of it very quickly and it easily goes from grass to rocks to dirt no problem. We got the headlights and wheel lights and it looks cool at night.

This car was super fun and seemed to last as long as the attention span of my 6 year old. The car batteries were rechargeable but the remote were standard. The steering is a bit tricky. Super fun for just spazzing out and doing crazy stuff (and my kids love it and think it’s hilarious), but a little tricky if your main concern is driving on a “race course”. Maybe an older kid would be able to figure it out, but as the different parts of the car flip, the way you have to steer changes. Overall, satisfied.

Battery life is short (~20’ of constant use) but you have another battery available. Otherwise fun toy. Should change the name so it’s more inclusive, not just for boys

It is a third one in our family as I have the same for my kids (10 to, 8yo and 2 yo as well). They love it!
The led lights are great, as we are using it in parking lot, in campground in evening. Also the wheels are lighted.
I will definitely recommend it to anyone, as no cons, only pros to me.
Planing to buy one more as a gift for our neighbor (8 yo, boy)

I actually bought this for my dog. I live in a state that frequently breaks 100 in the summer so indoor exercise is a must. I play this with my dog. He chases it around. The one before this (different brand and style) was easily destroyed, but this has a nice solid hard plastic exterior that with stands a large dog playing rough. It responds well to controls though sometimes I was unsure what direction I could be going because it can flip so much. Excellent product especially for the price and I will buy again if my large dog does eventually kill it.

-built for flips and to be very flexible so withstands rough play by child or pet
-relatively easy to drive
-two batteries provided
Cons:
-You have to unscrew the battery compartments with a single screw, but this does help with extreme durability and they do provide a tiny screwdriver so it is a minor inconvenience.

You can’t beat the price on this. It is relatively fast, very sturdy, and it FLIPS!!! So it runs fine even if it ends up on its back.
The only issue I have is that now my dog figured out how to grab it before it goes too far, and then he carries it to the middle of the yard and won’t let it get away. In the beginning, he would chase it all over the yard and driveway, getting lots of exercise! He absolutely loves his toy. He especially likes it if I don’t let up on the power while it is in his mouth so it’s like an animal trying to get away. The car seems pretty indestructible since he doesn’t really chew on it, just carries it. He is capable of pulling the rubber wheels off to disable it from running away, and I just push them back on again.
The flipping action is AWESOME! So much better than a regular remote control car.
When I bought the car I had to buy new rechargeable batteries. The batteries it came with lasted only 20 minutes and then wouldn’t recharge. I recommend ordering this with a set of new rechargeable batteries. I bought Kratax AA Rechargeable Batteries 8 Pack Upgraded 3500mWh High Capacity 3A AA Lithium Battery 1.5V Constant Output, You want ones with a high mWh. These last a long time. I’ve used the car multiple times and haven’t had to recharge them.
In order to charge the car you have to unscrew the battery door (it comes with a tiny screw driver) and pull the battery out, which is a bit difficult because it is crammed in. So I had to use a pen to pry it out. I’m really not sure that the screw is needed since the door latches. But it would be necessary if you have little kids.
Enjoy! This would be even more fun for little kids! My dog is 51 lbs, and a smaller dog would be better, one that has a smaller mouth and couldn’t grab the car as easily. Everyone I’ve showed this toy to wants to buy one. You should, too! You really can’t beat the price! I even looked at local stores to try to find a low price since I didn’t know if it was going to be a good investment for my dog. But it is GREAT!!!

This is such a fun remote car! It is recommended for ages 6+, however my 4 yr old grandson really enjoys it, and so does my 6 yr old Scottish Terrier! As with most controls, it takes getting used to, esp for a 4 yr old. Probably why the higher age rating. It’s great that the main car batteries are rechargeable with provided USB cord. This was a pleasant surprise for the money! The lights are fun and it does amazing maneuvers. I highly recommend.

My kids just love this car. And I love the fact that it is rechargeable and it comes with two batteries! No more waiting for the battery to charge to play again. The battery does seem to last a long time. My kids usually go to something else before the battery dies. Had to purchase another one as they would fight over this one. It’s durable and takes the beating that little kids give to toys. It’s neat to watch it flip and go over a bunch of obstacles in my backyard. Would and DID purchase again!
