Books came with bent corners that were hard to bend back – some squeak, box was torn. Inexpensive books, not what I expected. The child preferred the board books over these. Child was 10 months old. I do not recommend.

My daughter absolutely loves these. Babies cannot see color in their first few months of life. I stuck with a few simple black & white toys for eye development. Wether I flip pages or just prop the book up next to her, she will stare, kick, & coo at these books. The insects are her favorite. She’s now 10 weeks, and even though I’ve begun to buy her a few new toys for tummy time & development, she still loves these books & stays interested during play. I absolutely recommend these books for newborn babies as a first toy for development. You won’t be disappointed.

Love these, but as mentioned by previous reviewers, I immediately cut off the button/snap and ribbon on the edge of the book as it could be a choking hazard. Other than that, cant wait to use once my baby is a little bit older.
