We have one outlet in the house in the kitchen where everybody plugs everything in to charge. Phones, tablets, earbuds, battery charger – whatever requires charging can be found on the kitchen counter throughout the day. In a household of five and only 2 plugs, this usually didn’t end well. Until I discovered this little beast while searching through my deals one day. Now I just need to find a way to make more room on the counter for everything to be plugged up at once.

Pretty cheap way to get some more outlet space. Install was fairly easy. You just take off the old outlet cover. It comes with its own screw attached so that’s nice. The only difficult part was getting the pins that align it with the plugs in while also screwing it in; but you should be able to do in a minute or two. The plug slots on the sides are not deep enough to fully seat all plugs, but even when this happens, its deep enough to get power, so not a big deal. The night light can be cool or annoying depending on you. I would be nice if you could turn it off, but I haven’t found a way to do that. It s mellow, pretty dim orange so it’s not a bother at all.

I bought three of these wall chargers, and although I have not yet used the USB chargers, only the outlets, I am very happy with them so far. I bought a two pack of the same type of outlet/charger from Costco a few years ago, and these are way superior. My issue with the Costco ones, were whenever I pulled out something plugged in (ie: hair dryer, straightener) the whole charger would come off as well. I do not have the same issue with these and even thought I have not used the centre screw, they fit very tightly into the wall outlet, and do not pull out when I am pulling the appliance cord out of it. Great product.

Ideal for plugs that are allowed to be screwed does not hang up well in modern plugs without screw

Love this wall charger, the angled outlets make it easy to actually use all of them compared to a power bar where bulky adaptor plugs done let you use all the outlets on it. Love the USB plug ins as well, a lot of chargers nowadays are designed with USB. Great product, works great.

What sets this product apart is the absence of any unexpected surprises. Upon unboxing, it seamlessly fit into place after replacing the existing wall plate and screw. A straightforward process involved plugging it in and securing it with the provided new screw from the plug set. Instantly, a green light illuminated to indicate proper grounding, and all 110V outlets functioned flawlessly. While I haven’t yet tested the USB connectors, I will update this review once I do, specifically addressing their fast-charging capabilities. Although I don’t intend to use it for travel, its compatibility with US plugins ensures versatility in various settings. Acquiring this item for less than $16 on Prime Day was a rewarding deal, and I confidently recommend this purchase.

Installing these onto an outlet is easy. The instructions are simple, even if your outlet has a test button. I bought 2 of these. One went in the kitchen and that one has no issues. The other is in our living room and that outlet has a test button on the outlet. You have to break that peg on the back of the wall charger to install it which is fairly easy. But we also have noticed that there is less power coming from the USBs due to i have my computer plugged into this.

I have no idea if that has anything to do with this, but my girlfriends powerbank charges much faster in the kitchen on that wall charger than the one that my computer is plugged into.

I get it, future-proofing a house is hard. When our house was built in the 70’s, they had no idea that in the 21st century we would have so many devices that needed power every day. They put five outlets in a single bedroom but placed them in the middle of the walls so that the outlets would almost always be covered by furniture. Pretty funny. I guess they had really only expected there to be two uses for the outlets: lamps, and maybe … an electric humidifier, occasionally?
Now we have lamps, TV’s, phones, tablets, computers, personal video game devices…the list goes on. We need OUTLETS. This extender has my floor lamp, my phone, my tablet, my e-reader, and an electric timer with my electric blanket hooked into it. So far it has performed well. No shortages to report. The one thing I will say is: when I put a USB-C cable into the USB-C port and plug that into my computer, it barely charges. That might be my fault or the cable’s fault, but I could venture a guess that perhaps this extender isn’t built with that sort of power draw in mind. It will, however, charge all smaller devices well, and I recommend it for anyone who is tired of all their power outlets being taken over by device adapters.

This one works better than all the others we have used. This stays put in the outlet and does not lean away from the outlet once you plug in devices. Best part is the configuration of the outlets. On others you cannot always plug in as many devices as there are available slots because of the variable sizes. This one is configured in a way that allows you to use all of the available slots at the same time. We have had problems with this in the past and this fixes the issue.

Like most of the people we know, my wife and I own multiple devices with rechargeable batteries. Phones, cameras, tablets… you name it. After a weekend away, nearly every convenient outlet in our house plays host to at least one rechargeable device.

This wall charger helps simplify matters. Since most devices don’t draw much current, we can plug almost everything that needs charging into one outlet. With the added reassurance it’s also a surge protector.

It simplifies getting all our devices recharged after a weekend away. And the surge protector offers a degree of confidence our frequent lightning storms (We live in southern Florida.) won’t fry our devices. It’s easy and quick to install… though the instructions leave something to be desired.

As far as traveling goes, don’t bother. This is a household device, and isn’t appropriate for travel use.

But, if you have a half-dozen rechargeable devices and struggle to get everything charged in a timely manner, this could be the solution you seek.

In the era of 5-volt DC devices this wall charger is now essential and easy to install. There is a video about installation. Remember to turn off the power to the outlet. Once installed it gives you 3 extra outlets plus 4-UBS power outlets. Three are USB-A and one is a USB-C, total amperage is 4.8 amps. It was installed behind a chest in the bedroom with our digital alarm clock on top that requires a USB charger. One of the other USB outlets is to charge my watch. Not using the AC outlets currently. The negative they do not give you what is the total wattage for the 5 AC Outlets which is important so not to blow out your circuit breakers or this device. Its dose has a surge protector, which would help with over loads. Will need to wait to see if it works with a close by lighten strike. Dose not struck me as something you would carry in travel.
