We opened up the hoverboard today for my daughters birthday. She knows how to ride one, but this one is difficult. First off, the one we have doesn’t even match the photos. Not sure if we received an older version or what. Second, when my daughter was riding it, the lights wouldn’t always go on, on the left side. It kept vibrating while she was riding, and when she stepped off it jerked around violently like another reviewer posted previously. Requested a return for it. I wouldn’t recommend this one.

For about the first three days, I needed to hold onto people to keep myself from falling. I had no experience with anything like this. After about the forth day, I realized how to turn. which is really a big improvement. I’ve now had my board for almost a month and I’m an expert. I can now do tricks, turn hard and even ride backwards. The battery lasts a really long time. I have yet to ride it long enough to drain the battery. It rides perfect on concrete and road pavement. It rides slow on grass and not at all on rock. Its really heavy and I recommend buying a carrying bag with it if you plan on taking it places to ride. Its completely silent and it has lights on it that glow brightly. I have yet to test the bluetooth capabilities. I have noticed one issue in particular. When I pull off one foot and leave another one on it, it’ll start flipping violently. This is concerning. But I purchased the extra warranty, so I’m not too concerned. Overall? Its a great hoverboard for beginners and experts alike.

We opened this present in Boxing Day. It appears lovely and sturdy and easy to use however. The charging instructions do not work, the product often stays charged and usable for 1 or 2 minutes at a time then cuts out abruptly.

We ordered two of these for our 8 and 5 year old children. I’m amazed how quickly they learned to use these! Much quicker than me 😉 The devices seem to work well, hold battery charge (we only charge over night and try to run them until they’re dead before re-charging). The bluetooth feature is fun too!
We did have one issue with one of the devices. It unexpectedly turned off while my 8 year old was riding it causing her to take a hard fall since the wheels unlock and it becomes completely unstable. I contacted the seller (lemongreen) and they got back to me right away. They recommended resetting (re-balancing) which we did and had no further issues, but they suggested returning for a full refund instead. I thought this was a very generous offer since I was outside of the return window even though the device had only been in use for a few days (bought several months before as a birthday gift). They promptly sent me a return label and initiated the refund as soon as the tracking indicated the package had been picked up.
I believe others have reported terrible customer service with this seller, but my experience was the complete opposite. They were so easy to work with and responded very quickly!!

Our daughter begged for a hoverboard for her 6th birthday. So we ordered this and bought a Jetson seat attachment for safety and indoor use. She loves it! I do feel like battery usage is better if she rides it (48lbs) vs me (169lbs) I was having to ride it with her to teach her and it would last about 25-30 minutes. Now that she knows how to operate she hasn’t had to charge it in a few days… I guess momma needs to lay off the chips and salsa 😂 🤷♀️

This is our family’s very first hoverboard so we are not “pro level” yet lol. So far just my husband and I have been using it and we let our oldest use it with a go cart seat attached. For now until he’s real confident I think is the safest and honestly thats a really fun option for us too. My son and my husband have been really wanting one for some time and I have been comparing a few brands and features I love that it came in turquoise which was hard to find. So many look really boring so I was stoked to find in my favorite color and with fun light features. The lights at night are super fancy- the wheels spin colors but there are also lights on the front and the back. The foot treads feel secure and the battery seems to last a really long time.
